Description

to allow a municipality that is located in a county classified as distressed, least developed or underdeveloped to impose a sales and use tax not to exceed one percent of amounts subject to tax codes in the South Carolina Sales and Use Tax Act for no longer than ten (10) years. Tax monies accrued are to be used exclusively to promote economic development in the municipality
