Description
This bill would provide that following July 1, 2011 the state Superintendent of Education would have supervisory authority over all interscholastic athletic activities for public high schools of the state; must appoint a diverse advisory board, including women and minorities, to help him in this supervision; and to provide that a state public high school may not join or affiliate with any jurisdictional body that operates outside the authority of the state Superintendent of Education.
